Our 6'3" son wanted a comfortable futon/sofa. The microfiber fabric is overstuffed with poly foam and seems quite durable. He says it is very comfortable and falls to sleep on it watching television in the sofa position. It will also lay flat for a bed which he hasn't used yet. The only assembly required was placing the feet on it with an allen wrench and the arms just slip into place. It has storage below the seating area which would be great for blankets, etc. This is a great piece of furniture for a dorm, apartment, or someone just starting out.Sorry to have to edit this review. The stuffing in the sofa began to break down after really only a month of use. We regretfully have returned it which was a task requiring rescheduling freight pick-up, etc. Amazon has been fantastic in handling the return. Thanks Amazon.

The picture looks way better and more stuffed. The actual sofa has very little stuffing and when it's opened to a futon, there's a bar in the middle it that reeks havoc on the back. If it had more stuffing that would not be a problem. I've had it only 2 months and its going flat.
